isn't that amazing? i know we see this verse on like coffee mugs and mouse pads all the time, but frick... tell me is it not inspiring?
love is
patient
kind
does not envy
do not boast
is not proud
not rude
nor self-seeking
not easily angered
keeps no record of wrongs
rejoices with the truth
it always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Recently at Reality, Tim pointed out to us that this verse does not refer to romanantic love, though it can be applied, but to Christian love in general and what it means to love eachother as the body of Christ. I think that is even more inspiring because it is not reserved just for that one significant other, but for the entire body of Christ, that is ALL of our brothers and sisters in Christ, our neighbors and even our enemies! Jesus gives instruction here on what love looks like because we are so much swayed and confused by what we think it should be or what we want it to be, namely all about ourselves. Love this and love you!!!
